Mansum Ibrahimov started taking vocal lessons when he was six. He was born in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in 1960. His very first performances earned him tremendous success. At age 25, he was already the soloist at the first Opera House in the East. He is the winner of several international festivals. Mansum Ibrahimov currently holds a special place among the prominent musicians who have promoted Mugham, the famous musical genre of the Middle East, in the world. He has performed alongside the Rome Symphony Orchestra at Italy’s famous Arena di Verona theater. “RAI” television broadcast his live concert to the whole of Europe. He enchanted the European audience at the World Music Expo festival held in Denmark in 2011. Together with Latin American musicians, Mansum Ibrahimov has synthetized Mugham with local musical genres. Overall, Mansum Ibrahimov is widely recognized as the most successful Mugham performer to have combined ethnic music of the Middle East with European and American melodies. He has managed to infatuate millions of people with Middle Eastern music through Mugham. This makes Mansum Ibrahimov a perfect ambassador for the VMF success philosophy.
